CC800 and CC980 are better than CC990 in terms of vocabulary. For example, you can easily find the word "hydrophilic" in CC800 or CC980 or TC808, but you can not find it in CC990. CC990 seems built in a very early version of "wenqunxing--- English-Chinse Dicationary". I do not know why. I would not recommend you buy this model but the early model such as CC800 or CC980. You would get more with less.
